Use good lighting, set up your phone, take a deep breath, and go for it!

First, watch Rachel's example and get familiar with what she does. For this reel you will submit a video that is 9 seconds long. In this video you will match what Rachel is doing by fluffing pillows on a bed.
Make sure to use good lighting. Position yourself in front of a window (facing the light) or use a ring light.
Practice, practice, practice! There are no "do-overs" for Weekly Reels. Make sure you are happy with your raw footage before submitting your Edit My Reel Form, found in your Raw Footage folder.
What's Next?
You recorded your raw video footage. Next you'll...
- Upload the raw footage to your GSL folder labeled, "Raw Footage".
- By this Saturday, claim your spot on the Edit My Reel form (in the Raw Footage folder). This let's us know it's ready to be edited.
- Sit back and relax while we work on creating your custom personalized reel!
When your reel is edited, you will get an email that it is ready for you to post! It takes us about a week, so it will be ready the Monday after next. The email directs you to your Completed Reels folder where you will find the reel, caption, hashtags and trending audio link - everything you need!
The Weekly Reel System
- Every Monday morning you’ll get an email directing you to www.GSLReels.com where you’ll find the weekly reel example, instructions for shooting the video and any scripts.
- You will have until Saturday (5 days later) to film your raw footage, upload it into your Raw Footage folder, and claim your spot on the Edit My Reel form.
- Your custom personalized reel will be sent the following Monday (9 days later). You will get an email with a link to your Completed Reel folder that has your edited reel, caption, trending audio and hashtags… everything you need to post your new custom personalized reel!
